Dr. Laura Haygood has been in private practice in Tyler since 1999. After graduating from Rice University in Houston in 1991, she attended Baylor College of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Internship. Dr. Haygood completed Dermatology Residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident before returning to her husband's hometown, Tyler, in 1999. Dr. Haygood is married to a fellow physician and the adoring mother of two children.
Dr. Haygood is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of Texas Dermatologic Society, Texas Medical Association, Smith County Medical Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Skin Cancer Foundation, National Psoriasis Foundation, National Vitiligo Foundation, and American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery.
