Qualifications

Daniel Alfonso MD received his training from top US orthopaedic training facilities. After graduating from Dartmouth, he earned his medical degree from Emory, receiving the Joseph Whitehead Surgical Scholarship. Dr. Alfonso completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in addition to completing an additional orthopaedic research fellowship at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, one of the top orthopaedic residencies in the country. He did further training at Columbia University, completing a certification in Microsurgery there.
