Cynthia Tie, M.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She grew up in the Netherlands and received her medical degree from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, School of Medicine. She performed transitional internship at Marshall University in West Virginia. Her residency in dermatology and surgery was completed at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. She remained on faculty for several years at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology before moving to Tallahassee in 2002.
Dr. Tie has performed extensive research in ultraviolet radiation and has co-authored numerous published articles for a variety of medical and dermatological journals.
Dr. Tie provides patients with the latest expertise in the field of dermatology. Her special interests include dermatologic manifestations of systemic disease, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer and cosmetic dermatology. She has an affinity for cutaneous surgery and reserves time in her schedule every day for procedures.
