Dr. Gonzalez is a Miami native and recognized as one of the most highly sought-after dermatologists in the area. We are thrilled to have her contribute her clinical skill and expertise to our practice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Gonzalez obtained her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where she ranked number one in her class. She completed a residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of South Florida, where she was appointed Chief Resident.
Dr. Gonzalez specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology and is experienced in treating patients with various skin disorders including acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia and skin cancers. Her advanced training in surgery also allows her to provide her patients the convenience of excisional surgery of the skin when needed. In addition, she has conducted clinical trials in the treatment of psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis. Dr. Gonzalez is an active member of renowned professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has written various articles and publications in dermatology journals.
